PTA

Owyhee Elementary is lucky to have an incredible PTA (Parent Teacher Association). Membership in the PTA supports our school and makes you an active partner in your child's learning. For more information about how to sign up for the PTA, email [email protected]. 

 

Some events that the PTA hosts/supports include:

- Field Day

- Mega Recess 

- Teacher Appreciation Week

- Jog-O-Thon

- Popcorn Fridays

- Hat Day 

- Pastries with Parents

- and so many more! 

 

Your membership in the PTA is not some massive time commitment. You can volunteer in ways that fit your talents. If you have an abundance of time, consider volunteering to monitor lunch recesses or give reading fluency tests during the day. If you have an abundance of money, consider donating to our fundraisers or class parties. If you have an abundance of creativity, consider volunteering to plan events for students and our community members. There is no right or wrong way to get involved.
